The channel Mini SE Focus has dedicated itself to different aspects and features of the new electric Mini Cooper. The downfall of the guess-o-meter has been brought up my many drivers but for a city driver the low battery range of around 100ish miles isn't an issue, I am currently on day 3 of not charging since I don't typically drive more than 20-40 miles a day (click here to see my project conclusion that shows my November charging). Since Mini SE Focus only has an IOS short cut this will not help me calculate my final range mid usage with my android phone which is where I got my project idea without doing a lot of math on the road. The point of the short cut it to have all the math already programed behind the scenes so you can quickly plug in your dash numbers and have an instant read out. Here is the video explaining below. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IovK4pfPunc&t=1s
I have worked out all the math through from the video to help and recreated the table (a few numbers have changed due to the equations and the assumption that there was a mis-key on input)
Please feel free to use his short cut or make your own and share with the EV community. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1btBjTysC3iO32j8K7GSFvFbRh60Dm5-bQ4pSxBwq63o/edit?usp=sharing |
